This distinctive degree combines business and management with French language skills. It is delivered by the School of Management and the Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies. Students will benefit from the expertise of two leading departments.
The first two years cover core management subjects while developing the French. We deliver several units in French and they'll learn about the country's business environment. This prepares students for their year abroad.
In Year 3 students will spend up to 12 months in a French-speaking country. They'll have the flexibility to choose a work placement, an International Academic Exchange or a combination of both.
In the final year, students will choose from a range of management units and continue to build their expertise in French.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Following are the requirements for this program:

Students will need a strong performance in French as part of their entry qualifications. If they are not taking it as part of their entry qualification, we can accept a relevant B2 level language qualification, such as DELF.
If students are taking a GCE A level in a science subject, they will need to pass any separate science practical endorsement.
We prefer Higher Level French, but we may be able to consider students with Standard Level French. In this case the typical offer is: 36 points overall and 6, 5, 5 in three Higher Level subjects plus 7 in Standard Level French.
