Biochemistry course immerses students in ground-breaking research and gives students the opportunity to develop high-level analytical and problem-solving skills that prepare them for a diverse range of careers.
Students can tailor the course to suit their interests across all years by combining their study of core biochemistry units with a choice of optional units. In the first year, these include anatomy, pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, and physiology.
The second year combines biochemistry and molecular genetics with a choice of units such as neurophysiology, infection, and immunity, mathematics, and languages.
In the final year, students will select from a choice of advanced units in biochemistry, such as synthetic biology, neurobiochemistry, and cancer.
We focus on the development of your practical and research skills throughout the first two years. We also offer summer studentships and subject-specific employ

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
Students are required to maintain at least 70-80% in their previous studies.

Language Requirments:

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
