The Ethnicity and Multiculturalism programme from University of BristolÊhas a particular focus on the nature of multicultural and multi-ethnic societies, the issues surrounding culture in a modern and postmodern world, and the growing public policy implications of addressing ethnic, cultural, linguistic and religious diversity within modern nation states.
It also examines the discrimination, exclusion, marginality and unfair treatment of minority groups, and the violation of their civil rights in different societies.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- A first or second class honors degree from an recognized university
- Degree certificates and transcripts that comply with the university guideline
- Personal statement that describe the reason for choosing this program and details about how previous education will help
- CVs that include relevant qualification to support an appliication
- One academic reference or professional reference if graduated more than two years ago
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 overall with 6.5 in each section
- Pearson: 67 in all skills
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 88 overall with 22 in reading, 21 in listening, 23 in speaking, 22 in writing
- CPE: Grade C or Level C1
Indian Students Specific Requirements:
- CBSE or CISCE English at minimum 80% in place of another English test, with an MOI letter confirming that English is the teaching language of your institution.
- A first class degree (60% or higher) in bachelors degree and some research experience from a recognised Indian university
- Students from top Indian universities can be accepted with 55%
