  • If students choose the six year (sandwich) course, they will have to spend a year away from the University on a work placement after Year two.
  • Students get the oppertunity to work with leading employers, such as the RSPB, Plymouth Marine Laboratory, the Environment Agency, MoD, Kew Gardens and Tongariro Natural History Society in New Zealand.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Applicants need two A-levels or an equivalent qualification such as:
    • A BTEC Diploma or Extended Diploma
    • International Baccalaureate
    • Irish Highers
    • Access to Higher Education Diploma
  • Students also need one A-level, or equivalent in foundation Courses.
  • International students have to successfully complete the required level and with good attendance, guarantees entry to Year one of the degree.

Indian Students Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Students have to complete a 4-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Students must complete a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate – Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB: English Language with 70%. This qualification must have been completed within the last three years.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
