BA(Hons) Business and Events Management brings together UWE Bristol's recognized expertise in event studies and business management.
Lectures, workshops/seminars, tutorials, and group work make up 12 hours of contact time each week
This can involve essential reading, preparing for classes and presentations, reviewing lecture content, completing written work, and revising for end-of-module exams.
In Year one, students will get support with important academic skills and will be assigned an academic tutor to support them throughout the degree.
Students will develop their academic skills and their understanding of law, economics, accounting, business and management.
In Year two, students will study modules on specialist areas of events and business studies, plus a major enquiry or work-based project.
Students are encouraged students to do a 40-week paid sandwich placement after Year two. It can be in the UK or abroad.

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete the following eligibility criteria:

Students should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (Standard XII) from boards such as CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least five subjects.
Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree.
Students should hold a 70% score in the English Language in Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate - Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
