- Bachelor of Science in Sport Rehabilitation at the University of The West of England is a 3 years program.
- It is an on-campus, honours program offered on a full-time basis.
- This program is accredited by the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT).
- During the course, BASRaT student members may apply for malpractice insurance upon successful completion of the Sports Rehabilitation Practice 1 module for a small fee.
- Sport rehabilitation focuses on understanding, preventing, and treating sports and exercise-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Combining university-based experience with extensive placement experience, students will learn how to provide safe and effective care to people suffering injury, illness, or disease related to sports and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Students are assessed using coursework, professional practice assessments, presentations, practical and written examinations, and research.
- Students have practical sessions and provide services to clients in our onsite clinic at Glenside, equipped with hydraulic couches and teaching aids, such as skeletons and anatomical models.
- Students have to spend at least 400 hours on placements, working with elite sports medical teams, sports injury clinics, sports clubs, fitness centres, and rehabilitation units, putting them in a strong position for future employment.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- UCAS Tariff points: 120
- GCSE: Grade C/4 or above in English Language or Literature, Mathematics and Double Science, or equivalent.
- A-level subjects: Grade C in Biology, Human Biology, or PE.
- Baccalaureate IB: A minimum Grade 5 in Higher Level Biology, Human Biology, or PE.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete the following eligibility criteria:
- Students should have a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (Standard XII) from boards such as CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least five subjects.
- Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree.
- Students should hold a 70% score in the English Language in Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate - Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
