At The University of Hull studying the BA Early Childhood Education and Care (1 year top-up) (Hons) combines academic rigour with fun and creative ways to encourage children under the age of five to participate in learning. Study education and learning theories, policies and practices in a range of contexts, with emphasis on early childhood and care, plus the construction of learning opportunities which engage the active participation of learners. You will be taught be dedicated, diverse and experienced staff with interests and published work in a number of educational areas.

Throughout the year, you will study modules such as International Perspectives in Early Childhood, Leadership and Management in Early Childhood, Provision and Care, and a professional practice module. You will be allocated a personal supervisor and receive guidance in your academic work, and you can drop in on your lecturers and tutors at any time with questions or concerns.
