Master of Design Administration at Cardiff University is a 1-year program.
It is a blended learning program offered on a full-time basis.
This is a unique program focus on design management, provides the understanding and skills necessary to administer building procurement from inception to occupation.
Students have to successfully complete 180 credits.
The taught stage is 120 credits followed by a 60 credit dissertation. All modules in the taught stage are worth 20 credits.
In this program, the distance learning teaching methods are used including webinars and online, a programming blog, and discussion boards.
The course material will be available in the form of detailed course notes, wikis, and pre-recorded video presentations.
Students will be supported by regular online tutorials and provided with detailed feedback on all course assignments.
This program is taught by well-known experts and maintains strong links with the industry.
The program will include around 60-75 hours of live online events.
Students will also need to undertake a private study on a regular basis in order to complete the various elements of coursework.
Students will complete all modules in 1 academic year and undertake their dissertation during the summer.
The modules completed are Industry Context, Professional Services, Construction Contracts, Design Delivery, Project Delivery, and International Procurement, all 20 credits.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants will have a 2:2 degree in architecture, engineering, contracting, facilities management, or similar construction industry or built environment-related field.
Students must be qualified in IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE to get admission in this program.

Work Experience:

Students should have a minimum of three year’s work experience in building design or the construction industry, or as a client of the construction industry.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students will need successful completion of a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognized institution, with grades of approximately 55%-60% to qualify for the postgraduate courses.
Some schools will also require the successful completion of a relevant master's program from a recognized institution.
The Indian Standard XII English qualification from the following examination boards are accepted with a minimum score of 70%:
