The project is a result of a strong industry collaboration with a world-wide leading infrastructure supplier for communication systems.Ê
Huawei, Shanghai, China and Cardiff University cooperate within this project on the investigation of novel measurement systems. The main goal of this project is to investigate measurement systems for RF device/transistor characterization for modulation bandwidths > 1 GHz to facilitate the development of 5G wireless communication components and systems, e.g. RF Power Amplifiers.Ê

Academic Requirements:

Applicants should complete a bachelor’s degree or masters degree in relevant subject
Official transcripts of all the previous academic experience
Students should provide evidence of previous research experience

English Language Requirements:

IELTS Academic: 6.5 minimum overall with minimum of 5.5 in each subskill
PTE Academic: Atleast 69 overall with minimum of 59 in communicative skills
TOEFL IBT: minimum 90 overall with scores of 17 in writing, 17 in listening, 18 in reading and 20 for speaking
