This program is also available as 2 year full-time for second year entry students.
We place a significant emphasis on strategy development, recognising that to be competitive in today’s dynamic, complex environment, businesses must become less bureaucratic and more flexible, able to identify market opportunities and shift from one dominant strategy to another. You will be encouraged to adopt the view that all managers need to be involved in the strategic management process to achieve better organisational performance and maintain a position of competitive advantage.
We will examine the tools and techniques to identify and manage key issues for the future of your organisation, such as scanning the environment for critical information, suggesting changes to strategies to take advantage of environmental shifts and working with others to continuously improve work methods, procedures and evaluation techniques.
The BA in International Business (Hons) Top-Up at Coventry UniversityÊapplies the six PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) and the course team conveys these principles and values to our students too, integrating them into the curriculum through Corporate and Social Responsibility and areas such as sustainable trading. The Business School has adopted PRME across its portfolio as a framework that is internationally recognised for adaption and change, an area critical for all businesses trading today. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must achieve an overall score of 60% minimum in the standard XII examination.
- Students also have 65% in Maths and 65% in one from subjects such as Physics/ Chemistry/ Electronics/ Engineering/ Further Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Computing/ Design Tech.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must achieve 60% overall achieved in a 3 or 4 years Engineering or Technology Diploma.
- Students must achieve an overall score of 60% minimum in the Standard XII examination with a minimum of 65% in the key relevant subject; i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics.
- 60% in Standard XII English language from certain examination boards only (Central boards, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Uttarakhand).
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
