Adequate access to a choice of effective psychological therapies is a key Government priority. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) has a continually evolving evidence base with emphasis on therapy outcomes and robust, universally applicable treatment methods.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is the most effective of available treatments across a range of psychological problems, specifically depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD and phobia. As such, CBT is the basis of much mental health practice. It has become Government policy for NHS Trusts to provide patients/clients with access to CBT.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

To enter the course students need to have one of the following requirement:

A minimum of a second class honours degree in a computing-related subject. Students from graduates in other disciplines (such as mathematics, physics, or engineering) with experience in programming would also be considered on individual merits.
An unclassified degree plus at least two year’s further study or professional experience in computing-related subjects.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 4-year bachelor's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Or, completed a B.Sc/B.Com/B.A (3-4 year) degree from well-ranked institutions with an overall grade of 70%.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
