Our BMus (Hons) Music degree combines performance and composition alongside the historical and cultural study of music, offering excellent tuition in a broad range of styles. Students will join a thriving musical community and be able to work with professional artists and practitioners.
Students will explore musical repertoires past and present through classical and popular musicology, composition, and performance, with emphasis on cultural issues, theory, analysis, and practice-based learning.
On our four-year degree, you’ll also be able to take a year-long Professional Training placement and gain experience in the arts and music industry.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete their higher secondary from an affiliated institute.
- Music at grade B. Additionally, ABRSM Grade 5 Theory or equivalent. Applicants taking an A-level science subject with the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass the practical element.
- Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
