- The MSc in Occupational and Organizational Psychology is designed to develop the next generation of evidence-based leaders and practitioners in the field of work and organisational psychology. Students learn about the foundation knowledge, research and theory in the field, alongside practical, technical and professional content designed to permit development as future practitioners.
- The programme covers the standards of the BPS for Occupational Psychology, but importantly reflects the core strengths and interests of the course team: Leadership and Decision Making; Performance and HR Assessment; Quality of Working Life
- The program aims to develop attributes towards students such as: Cognitive/analytical, Subjective knowledge, Transferable skills, Professional/Practical skills etc.
- Organisational and Occupational Psychologists, Human Resource Specialists, and world-leading experts in Organisational Behaviour. Learning and development is facilitated through innovative, high-quality teaching incorporating (for example) case studies, team-working, skills development, guest speakers, and an applied research project, alongside class lectures and academic assignments and assessment.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
A minimum of a 2:1 UK honours degree (or a recognised equivalent international qualification) in Psychology or a similar subject with psychology content, such as:
- Any major with a psychology minor
- Human resource management
- Organisational behaviour
- Business, with clear evidence of modules related to organisational behaviour and business psychology
- Sociology, with psychology modules, or equivalent.

The Student Visa is part of the Points Based System for immigration (PBS), operated by the Home Office. If you have made or are planning to make an application from 9am on 5 October 2020, you will be applying for this new visa in order to study in the UK. If you applied before this date you will have applied for a Tier 4 visa
It costs £348 to apply for a Student visa from outside the UK. You will also pay £348 for each dependent applying with you
Application Process:
- If you require a Student visa you must pass a points-based assessment and score 70 points when making a visa application:
- 50 points for a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from the University of Surrey
- 10 points for meeting the financial requirements
- 10 points of meeting the English language requirements
- Making a successful application which includes:
- Submitting the correct application form
- Paying the application fee (paying the fees is the responsibility of the applicant, not the University)
- Paying the correct Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) fee - IHS is charged at £470 per academic year of study
- A valid Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from the University of Surrey
- Submitting required documents and a letter from the university confirming his/her acceptance for the course
- Documents to show you meet the financial requirements (see below for further details)
- Original academic and English language documents as listed on your CAS.
- Go through a credibity interview with the Home Office for the issuance of VISA
- Acceptance of your application
