Hull’s MA in History combines thematic modules to give students the confidence to take part in historical debate beyond their immediate specialism. Widening their analytical lens beyond anything students will have been asked to do at the undergraduate level, students will learn to ‘ask better questions that would matter just as much to a medievalist or a historian of the present. Students join the same community as our postgraduate research students and benefit from the direct supervision of the university’s world-leading experts in historical research.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a 2:1 or international equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL or PTE to get admission to this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

Students should hold a qualification equivalent to an upper second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.1) equivalent degree.
The university generally considers a Bachelor degree of a minimum three years in duration, awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in India to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree.
Students can score a minimum of 60% or an upper second-class (2:1) equivalent degree.
