Social work is a challenging, rewarding and varied career with opportunities to change people’s lives by working with them when they most need support.
Taught by experts with real-world practice experience, students will gain insight into issues like homelessness, substance abuse, disability and mental health as well as into policies relating to social welfare and the safeguarding of adults and children.
Social workers operate within the context of relationships to support individuals, groups and communities to realise their potential. You’ll be an advisor, counsellor and listener, engaging with service users and their families, whilst liaising closely with organisations such as the police, NHS, schools, probation and the voluntary sector.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a 2:1 or international equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL or PTE to get admission to this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

Students should hold a qualification equivalent to an upper second-class Bachelor Honours (or 2.1) equivalent degree.
The university generally considers a Bachelor degree of a minimum three years in duration, awarded by a nationally recognised higher education institution in India to be comparable to a UK Bachelor Honours degree.
Students can score a minimum of 60% or an upper second-class (2:1) equivalent degree.
