- In this Economics and Finance course at Leeds Beckett University students will discover how financial decisions made by individuals and businesses affect consumers, workers, industry, commerce, and government. They will gain a thorough understanding of financial markets and the structure of business organizations, as well as developing valuable analytical skills in finance and economics.
- Our strong links with the industry, including connections with Yorkshire Bank, Lloyds, TSB, and experts from the city of London, will open up a variety of placement opportunities and help give students a head start in employment market. Previous students have completed work experience with Redmayne-Bentley, Price Waterhouse Cooper, and several high street banks.
- At Leeds Business School we're dedicated to supporting student's professional development, and offer a guest lecture program to all our students. Past speakers include the CEO of the London Stock Exchange, Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury, past Chair and President of the Academy of Marketing, Chief Executive of the British Bankers Association, the Chief Economist of Yorkshire Bank, and the Editor of Cosmopolitan.
- This course will open doors to a wide variety of stimulating and financially rewarding occupations. Students with specialist knowledge and global outlook could see their working in stockbroking, business or financial management, investment banking, or accountancy.
