- This course allows students to gain an understanding of the theories and concepts of designing for performance while also expanding their creative practice.
- Students will use the specialist facilities to explore the performance experiences that can be created with light, space, objects, costume, sound, and digital technologies like pervasive media.
- Students will also examine contemporary performance practices, from the immersive and participatory to those staged outside of the theatre, within their wider social, cultural, and economic contexts.
- Throughout, students will have the freedom to experiment to create innovative performance through the medium of design. They will also have opportunities to work collaboratively and with external partners.
- Students will study compulsory modules designed to advance their practical and creative skills, as well as give them a solid base of theoretical knowledge and high-level research skills.
- Students will also choose from a range of optional modules, giving you the ability to tailor their studies to suit your interests and career ambitions.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a Bachelor's degree with 2:1 honors or equivalent qualification in a design or art degree.
- Students also require specializing in one of the following subjects:
- Theatre
- Dance
- Architecture
- Live art
- Design and Technology
- Arts and Humanities
- Students may have industry experience of theatre or film set design or working in associated areas of the creative and cultural industries
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students must have completed 3-4 year’s bachelor’s degree with 60%.

- Resume/CV: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and volunteer experience.
- Transcripts: Students must submit a copy of their degree certificate and transcript, or a partial transcript if they are still studying.
- Statement of marks - The marks statement provided by the education board.
- Letter of Recommendation - This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
- Personal Statement - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying in a minimum of 250 words.
- English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.
