Arts and Festivals Management is an applied subject where you develop an understanding of academic debates and demonstrate your practical skills through projects and two practical placements in your chosen arts sector. The course structure allows you to develop your interests and specialise as you progress through it.
You will develop a range of interdisciplinary skills such as teamwork, marketing and management theory, fundraising, business planning, licensing, health and safety, programming and cultural policy.
The course will equip you with the practical tools and skills to become leaders in key areas of the cultural arena, including theatres, music venues, galleries, museums and festivals.Ê Ê
