Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), this course will educate students in a diverse and insightful range of topics linked to people in the workplace, including subjects such as managing change, employment relations, culture, motivation, and leadership.
The dual focus of this degree helps to equip with a wide spectrum of knowledge and skills, with the opportunity to follow a general business pathway alongside a specialized focus on Human Resource Management (HRM). As part of this, students will gain a strong understanding of fundamental business concepts practices, and methods.
Students will also be able to acquire a thorough knowledge of key management topics and techniques, alongside studying modules such as Politics in Business, Employment Relations, Business Research Issues and Analysis, and HRM in the Workplace.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

The following are the entry requirements :

A typical offer is 112 UCAS points. Students need to study at least two subjects at A-level or equivalent (eg BTEC)
Five GCSEs grades A-C including; English Language and Maths
Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit (or equivalent)

English (Language or Literature) and Maths GCSE required as separate qualifications at grade C

University will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course
