- The popular and industry relevant pharmaceutical science degree is designed for graduates in chemistry or closely related disciplines who wish to work in this fascinating and important field.
- This program aims to deliver high-quality training in analytical and pharmaceutical chemistry that will be of direct benefit to industry and the UK science base.
- Across the program, students will undertake core modules in separation techniques, pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism, spectroscopy and structural analysis, and research methods.
- There is also the flexibility to tailor your studies through optional modules in mass spectrometry, drug targets, drug design and drug synthesis, sensors, and innovations in analytical science and medicinal chemistry.
- This will enable you to build essential multidisciplinary skills and deepen your understanding of key pharmaceutical concepts, whilst developing vital research and professional skills.
- Students will also carry out their own substantial research project (worth 60 credits) that will give them the experience of undertaking a research or development project managed according to modern industrial practice.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have completed a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students should hold 65% (First) first-class honours, 60% (First) upper second-class honours or 55% (Upper second) lower second-class honours bachelor degrees from a recognized university.
- Students should hold 70% (First with distinction) first-class honours, 65% (First) upper second-class honours or 60% (First) lower second-class honours bachelor degrees from other Indian Institutes.
