- Students explore the design and development of internal spaces in relation to their overall architectural composition, rethinking existing buildings and considering how to convert them to suit a range of uses.
- Key themes include aspects of interior architecture and design, from psychology and social conditions to structure, furniture design and materials, and decorative elements to structure, form, and light.
- Students use their creative eye alongside an understanding of the structural principles behind buildings, planning, and building regulations including sustainable, technical, practical, and environmental principles involved in making buildings. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A typical offer is 80-104 tariff points from at least two A levels (or equivalent).
- The University welcomes applications from mature students without conventional entry requirements. They take into account any alternative qualifications or other experience they may have.
- Students can gain considerable knowledge from work, volunteering, and life. Under recognition of prior learning (RPL) they may be awarded credit for this which can be credited towards the course they want to study.
- A minimum grade of 60% is required for introductory courses and a 60% overall average in all courses required for the certificate.
- Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students required to passed Class 12th with a percentage of 70-72% (Major), 78-82% (Honours) from one of the following boards:
- All India School Certificate (CBSE)
- Indian School Certificate (CISCE)
- If English is not the students’ first language then they must provide proof of English competency.
