YouÕll study a range of core modules in the areas of English grammar, discourse analysis, language ; psychology of language, sociolinguistics, and history and varieties of English. There is also a wide selection of option modules so you can focus on the areas that interest you most.
One such area is the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Depending on the number of TESOL-related modules you take, itÕs possible to graduate with the degree award of ÔBA English Language Studies with TESOLÕ, which will give you additional employability.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students need a high school degree or equivalent from a recognized institution. or
- Students can provide A-level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students need a Standard XII/Class XII from CBSE, CISC with 65% and above.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
