This course draws on expertise from three University faculties Ð Medicine, Dentistry and Health, Science, and Social Sciences Ð and the Sheffield Genetics Diagnostic Service (Sheffield ChildrenÕs Hospital NHS Foundation Trust). ItÕs aimed at students as well as professionals from healthcare and science backgrounds. The syllabus, as outlined by Health Education England (HEE), covers the scope and application of genomics in medicine and biomedical research as well as the ethical, social and legal issues relating to this field.The course is taught by academics, scientists and clinicians. Techniques range from lectures and tutorials to laboratory workshops and online learning packages. YouÕll get first-hand experience of hypothesis-driven research by carrying out your own project in genomic medicine.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have completed a 10+2 education from a recognized Institute.
- Students should need to have the qualifications which meet the entrance requirements for the course they wish to study.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students should have completed a 10+2 education from a recognized Indian broad with minimum marks.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

VISA
- Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
