- Mental health nurses provide care for people experiencing mental health problems, working in the community, specialist hospitals, or health centers.
- 50% of the studies will be spent in hospital and community settings, within the NHS and independent sector which includes prison placements, where students will spend time in a well-supported environment, working alongside qualified practice assessors and supervisors.
- On successful completion of this course, students will have a recognized degree qualification that leads to registration as a qualified nurse, with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- This course is delivered over three semesters per year. Throughout this course theory and practice are integrated into each module.
- Students will learn about how to support people during the most acute phases of their distress, how to work with people who have issues around substance misuse or offending behavior, and how to help those with ongoing mental health problems.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Students must fulfill the entry requirements that are listed below:
- GCSE: GCSE English and Maths at grade C/grade 4 minimum (or equivalent).
- A level: 112 points from a minimum of three A-Levels.
- IB: 30-31 points.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL or PTE to get admission to this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students in standard XII should score 65% in English (only when awarded from CBSE, CISCE, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana).
