The MLitt in Epistemology, Mind and Language is a one year taught postgraduate programme run by theÊStÊAndrews and Stirling Graduate Programme in Philosophy (SASP), taught by staff from both the University of StÊAndrews and the University of Stirling. It focuses on topics within epistemology, the philosophy of mind and the philosophy of language; withÊclasses covering normativity, intentionality, representation, consciousness, rules, thought, and reason and rationality available.

- Philosophy at StÊAndrews was ranked top in Scotland and fifth in the UK in the UK Research Excellence Framework 2014.
- The StÊAndrews and Stirling Graduate Programme was ranked the third best Philosophy programme in the UK in the latest Philosophical Gourmet Report.
- A range of modules are available with a specific focus on epistemology, the philosophy of mind and the philosophy of language.Ê
- Supervisors at both StÊAndrews and Stirling are available to oversee the MLitt dissertation.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a minimum of a second class honours degree or equivalent.
- Applicants without the formal qualifications but with significant appropriate/relevant work/life experience are encouraged to apply.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL or PTE to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students must complete their bachelors degree from a recognized university.
- Students must complete their graduation with 50% from Tier 1 College/ University
(namely University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi) or graduating with 55% from a Tier 2 College/University.
