You'll get a solid grounding in core subjects of heat transfer, energy conversion, acoustics, electrical services and lighting design as well as in the practicalities of building management, fire and smoke control, waste disposal and lifts and escalators.
Additionally, as there is a growing demand for a new generation of environmentally responsible buildings, youÕll also examine energy efficiency and sustainable design.
The Building Services Engineering course offered by Brunel University London is designed to give graduates the technical and managerial training they need to pursue careers in business services engineering.

Our graduates work in building services and construction-related consultancies such as Hoare Lea, Arup, BuroHappold, AECOM, Cundall, BRE, ChapmanBDSP, Atkins, WSP Group, Faber Maunsell and Hilson Moran.
Other employers include county councils within their building management and environmental departments, EDF Energy, Skanska, Trend Control Systems and Honeywell Control Systems.
You can also progress to academic research.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a 2:2 (or above) Honours degree or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission to this program.
- Submission of GMAT or GRE is recommended but not essential.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students should have completed a 3-4 year bachelor's degree from a mainstream university (state/federal or deemed institution) passed with the required grades.
- Students for research should hold a 3 to 4-year bachelor's degree and master's degree, both passed with required grades.
