Most of the professional positions in public health require a graduate degree, as this allows individuals to carry out the core functions of public health.
Upon graduation, students will be prepared to pursue careers in government agencies, academia, health care institutions, public health interest groups, and non-profit organizations.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Applicants must hold a baccalaureate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university and must have a record of strong academic performance comparable to a B or above-average grades.
A grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the undergraduate major is required.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
Completed a 4-year bachelors degree from a recognized institution
Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution.
Or, Complete a master's degree from an accredited university.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
Application. Students must submit their applications online at their official website.
Essay. The essay is the time to shine and communicate why students want to pursue a degree and how it will help them achieve their career goals.
Transcript. Students can upload or send their high school transcript, diploma, and any applicable external exams by email.
College Credits. Students can upload or send their transcripts (from all institutions attended) by email.
Interview. Student interviews with an advisor can be by phone, Zoom, and Skype. Once students submit their online applications, an advisor will be connecting with students to set up an interview.
Admissions Decision. Students will receive a decision from the Monroe Admissions Committee promptly via email once all checklist items have been submitted.
The students who wish to study in the USA at the University of California Berkeley require F and J visa. There are a variety of visa classifications other than F or J that allow school attendance in the USA. Students have two statuses: Dependent Status and Independent Status.
Dependent Status: Students who hold a dependent status are in the U.S. with parents or their spouse and their immigration status depends on this relationship and it is valid until the age of 21. If students hold a dependent-child status and will turn 21 within the next six months to a year, they may need to change their status.

If Students are planning to cease the activity of that status (employment or other obligations), they must change the status to an F-1 or J-1 student to remain legally in the U.S. and attend the University. The process to get an F-1 or J-1 entry visa are:
Obtain I-20 (F-1) or DS-2019 (J-1) from UC Berkeley by completing the NIF.
Check the current wait times for visa appointments and issuance in their city.
Pay the SEVIS Fee, if applicable.
Complete the Visa Application form DS-160.
Make a visa appointment and go to an interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate.
