Bachelor [Geography] From Castleton University

is the study of the Earth and everything on it?where something happens, why it happens where it does, how it relates to other events and phenomena, and how and why it is significant to people. In studying the Earth, geographers typically address one or more of the following themes: location, place, region, movement, and human-environment interactions.

Housed in Leavenworth Hall as part of the Department of History, Geography, Economics, and Politics, the Geography program offered by the Castleton University specializes in cultural, historical, and environmental geography and in geography education. We offer both a major-by-contract and a minor in geography.

Because geography can relate to almost anything, those who study geography will find a wide range of opportunities open to them.
