Highly Knowledgeable faculty with a practical curriculum

It is one of the finest institutes for my major, with an amazing academic curriculum and highly knowledgeable faculty. The facilities available are equally amazing and state-of-the-art. Also, the location and the region are one of the best in the US and ideal for any new coming student.

The curriculum is a great mix of theory and practical knowledge. It gives good exposure to state-of-the-art technology and industry-based knowledge. The projects assigned are in accordance with the industry and utmost care is taken that the projects are completed on time and all minimum requirements are met.

The General Requirements are GRE 300+, and TOEFL 100+. My scores are GRE 310, TOEFL 103. TOEFL scores lower than 100 are also admitted but with a special additional requirement of taking a mandatory EAP course which one has to clear with a minimum of 3 GPA.

The opportunities are in good numbers and very well available. I had given interviews with esteemed companies like Apple, Google, Intel, and Qualcomm to name a few. The salary offered is also well above average compared to the national average. Almost every graduate was placed in one or the other company.

There is no Co-op option at the university. Internships are dependent on the individual student. If one gets an opportunity one can opt for it after going through the legal process.

Campus life is great overall and has all facilities from Wifi to all sports. There are also various organizations and teams one can be a part of as extracurriculars. All festivals are celebrated with great joy be it Indian festivals or otherwise. The overall crowd is a great mix of all cultures and countries, so one gets great exposure to amazing cross cultures.

The approx fees per credit are $1500. One has to complete at least 30 credits to be eligible to graduate so the overall fee is approx $45000.

I didn't receive any scholarships from the university.

All faculties are PhDs as it's a compulsory requirement in the university to become a faculty. If one is interested one can apply to become a TA or an RA with a particular faculty if one meets the minimum requirement. All the faculties are always ready to talk and easily approachable for the smallest and silliest of queries and questions. They also help in getting internship opportunities or full-time opportunities.

Accommodation is very easily available around the university as Master students are not allowed to take accommodation on campus in hostels and dorms because the dorms and hostels are allowed only for Undergraduate students. The accommodation is slightly expensive because the cost of living in the area is slightly high as it is located in the central part of the city.
