The top two reasons I chose this school was because it's a Christian school and affordable. Being a Christian is a huge part of me and I wanted to attend a school that helped me keep my faith close.
Course Curriculum
It's great! The curriculum is relevant to what we are being taught. I have switched my major and found that the curriculum is consistent across the board. I don't have the thought where I am wondering when I would use the information.
Exams
The only test I remember taking in order to attend Grand Canyon University was the SAT. The reason why is because GCU looks mainly at your high school GPA. Thankfully my GPA was great!
Placement
The placements and job opportunities over at GCU are wonderful! I personally am a student worker and have been working at their coffee shop for about three years no- ever since I was a freshman. It has taught me a lot and has been vital in the growth that I have seen from within.
Internship
They do, however, I have not been a part of them. Grand Canyon University does offer internships as well as exploring abroad. My specific major does not require me to have an internship at all which I am pretty happy about.
Events
At GCU there are always some activities going on all around campus. No matter what day it is, you can bet that somewhere along with campus there?s always something exciting going. Some of these events usually involve food and do it yourselves activities.
Fees
The fees of GCU just include the tuition. Activity fees, to use the facility, and all the classes.
Scholarship
The main reason why I was even able to go to this school was because of the generous scholarships I was able to receive. I got an academic, the Pell Grant.
Examination Structure
The exam structure was good when I used to take exams often. At GC are definitely more opportunities to test your knowledge. However on things like education majors they switch the number of exams they take.
Faculty
They're so welcoming. Every class I have been to has been so inviting. The teachers are really interested in your best interest. I am grateful to have faculty that care.
Hostel
I am an off-campus commuter. Both ways of living have their goods and it's bads. I am about 30 minutes away. However, all the great things about this place and my work have made me think that the commute is all worth it.
