Akanksha Sharma Review at Rutgers University - New Jersey, New Brunswick | Collegedunia

My Learning Journey at Rutgers University

AS
6.8 /10

I chose it for the unique program of Master of Business and Science. It has courses in both technical and business domains.

Course Curriculum :

This program curriculum is a mix of technical and vocational courses. Several electives are also available.

Exams :

GRE and TOEFL are required. But above all, strong SOP and LOR increase your chances of getting selected.

Placement :

There is no such situation. Students have to find their own employment. Career fairs are where companies tell you what opportunities they have, but campus interviews are not like that.

Internship :

I did an internship which is provided by my department. It's more like a remote internship.

Events :

Rutgers has many extracurriculars. It has clubs for almost every possible activity from dancing to horse riding.

Fees :

The program fee is approximately $65000.

Scholarship :

No, I didn't receive any scholarship.

Faculty :

The faculty is good and approachable. But there are teaching assistants to guide and help you with doubts and queries on any topic.

Hostel :

I used to live in a shared apartment and my cost of living used to be around $800-$1000 per month.
