It was a Christian School and I loved the environment. This school promotes the intentional community and brings people from all over the world to love & learn together. I also chose this school for the major. They combine political science, economics, and philosophy.
Course Curriculum
Taylor has a tremendous course curriculum and has put me through a rigorous academic track to prepare me for post-college life. Being a Political Science major, my teachers have prepared me for the political world and have shown me that I can use my major for some thing other than being a politician.
Faculty
Our faculty has a special place at Taylor and has made me a more intuitive student and even better woman. The professors I have had have changed my outlook on what it means to be a Christian leader and brings out the intentional community within the classroom.
Placement
Like I said before, the calling and career office is a great resource for students. Taylor has a 96% success rate in employment after college. Taylor?s education is a good tool for post-college life and has brought multiple people great jobs.
Accommodation
My first three years I have lived in dorms and I have loved how close I lived with people and the community that comes along with it. Next year I will be living in an apartment, with 3 other girls and I hope to learn skills that I will need in the future.
Exams
ACT, this is the only test I took for college admittance. SAT were not required for my college journey.
Events
Something that is celebrated at my college is cultural identity and being loved by Christ. Being in a Christian environment, Christ and people coming to Jesus something that is highly celebrated. Something else that is celebrated is the talents of other people.
Fees
Fees basically are room and board and then tuition. If you take classes online then you pay by credit.
Scholarship
I have applied for lots of scholarships and financial aid and I currently have half of my college paid for by scholarships and financial aid. The process was kind of tedious but I believe that it was worth it.
Examination Structure
Our exam structure, in my major, is mostly papers and ways to talk through the material we covered. We put the material we learned into real life situations and it has taught me how to handle a professional job.
