From the moment I entered, the campus felt like home. Students interacted with my tour guide and myself, and the tour guide ensured that I knew every possible detail she could give. I loved learning about the history, diversity, and academics, and I knew William & Mary was the perfect choice for me.
Course Curriculum
The COLL Curriculum is very straightforward, and allows students to create an education specific to their own academic needs! Although I have only had positive experiences, I have witnessed the very few students attempting to transfer struggle to apply these credits to other schools? curricula.
Exams
I took the ACT, which allowed for entrance into the college. I also took 3 AP tests, which were processed as transfer credits to the College, counting toward my degree!
Placement
I currently work as a Patron Service Assistant at Campus Recreation. The shifts you have are the same week-to-week and are assigned based on your availability. These hours are flexible, allowing for dropping or picking up certain shifts as you want/need.
Fees
Expenses are due either via a monthly payment plan, or a single payment prior to the upcoming semester. This includes tuition, housing, meal plan, and fees.
Examination Structure
William & Mary has a very organized exam structure lasting over the span of one and a half weeks. In the very slim chance that you have 3 finals, midterms, exams, or papers due within a 24 hour period, the scheduling office provides accommodations to spread out this schedule.
Faculty
Due to it's a smaller size, William & Mary has a very reasonable student to faculty ratio. Faculty are personable, knowledgeable, and available, always willing and excited to help students at The College excel!
