Their educational program is one of the best, many teachers I know had graduated from here and gave high praise for their wonderful educational program. I opted to come here because I am passionate about education and want to become an English teacher for 7-12th graders and one-day college students.
Course Curriculum :
The curriculum could be a bit better but I don't mind it so much. I'm not a fan of handing in multiple drafts before a paper is due because I feel it's a waste of time. I want to be able to hand in one essay and then get individualized attention on what needs to be fixed and what works for me.
Exams :
I had taken the SAT and scored 1120 on my most recent exam. I did not take any other test mentioned above.
Fees :
I did not know that my school charges you for every class to switch out of after the first day of classes for the college have started. It's horrible because I was unaware of it and nowhere had this information been given to me. I had to pay out of my own pocket because financial aid wasn't enough to cover it.
Examination Structure :
Each teacher has their own exam structure. One teacher is traditional and has multiple sections to an exam while another gives out a take-home test. Overall I enjoy the different styles because it can be stressful to always be studying for the traditional type of testing.
