I grew up in the same city as my college but never considered it until I saw it offered what I wanted to go to school for, special education. It is honestly the best decision I've ever made though because everyone here is so amazing. The admission process was easy and there was no application fee. I only applied for this school in addition to a community college as a backup.

Exams

I joined this program because I found a passion for those with special needs while taking a class in high school to help them during their physical education classes. I know this school offers phenomenal and one-of-a-kind training so it was easy to choose it. All I needed were a decent ACT score and GPA to get in: I had an ACT score of 28 and a GPA of 3.3.

Placement

10

Our school has a very high job placement percentage; it is above 90. Our school is known for getting its students a ton of hands-on opportunities before graduation. Many companies look to hire students who graduate from this school because of the one-of-a-kind training we get.

Internship

Our school does a phenomenal job of offering internship opportunities, but it is on the student to go looking for them. As for on-campus jobs, there are plenty to choose from. However, the pay isn't that great, it's minimum wage. The jobs are very flexible with class schedules so that?s a plus.

Fees

I think our tuition is around $15,00 and the cost for a year in total is around $40,000. It is expensive which can be a turn off at first glance, but I got so much help in paying for college. I do have some loans, but not a lot.

Scholarship

Our school offers a quest while a person scholarship event in which anyone who attends will be given one. They also just implement the same scholarship event opportunities at the highest for international students, in which our school has a very high number. By graduation, I will only have about a year worth to pay for; with all of my scholarships and grants, they will cover about 3 years of going to school here.

Faculty

9

The class's faculty-student ratio varies depending on what type of class it is. It can range anywhere from 10 students to a few hundred. The teaching is Christian based, but again, depending on the type of class it varies on how much of that is integrated. Most of my professors have been super amazing, graceful, and helpful. Many professors have PhDs.

Hostel

I live on-campus, which may not be the most budget-friendly decision but it is all worth it for the community. I wouldn't have the friends I do if I lived off-campus. However, the perk to living off-campus is that it potentially saves money. I think room and board plus meal plan cost around $4,000-$5,000 a semester.
