I wanted to earn a degree but I don't have the time. Thus I was in a search for the colleges that provided the courses at an accelerated speed. I found Northwest University. I was required to attend a class just one night each week. Taking one class at a time, master it, and then move on to the next class made it possible for me to excel in my course. It also helped me to speed up my way to graduation.
Course Curriculum
Around 120 credits are required to be scored during the course. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it provides excellent preparation for a career in human services. An in-depth study of the brain and behavior is also provided through the course.
Exams
Developing a global approach to psychology, engaging with challenging issues that are related to culture and social injustice is one of my future goals. Thus I opted to study this course. No specific requirement was asked from me. Since it is an online course I had to keep a specific GPA. Also, my secondary and high school mark sheets were submitted.
Events
Since I am enrolled in the online course, I did not attend any of the events that were conducted by the university.
Fees
Per credit, I am required to pay $520. Many scholarships are also available in the university. Some of them are President's Scholar, Academic Scholarship, Bible Quiz, Debate Scholarship, District Youth Directors Scholarship, and Music Scholarships.
Faculty
Distinguished faculty with academic prowess, experience, and real-world insight are my professors. Many of whom are still active and are practicing Psychology. These professors teach us to treat the whole person socially, psychologically, spiritually, and culturally.
Hostel
I live with my family. Since I am located in the same city where the university is, made it possible to attend the classes regularly.
