Tierra Smith Review at Florida Atlantic University [FAU], Boca Raton | Collegedunia

Florida Atlantic University

TS
8.2 /10

I chose this college because of the location as well as the programs I was looking into. I also chose Florida Atlantic University because I needed a change of scenery and I was accepted right after I received my Associates in Arts.

Course Curriculum :

I like the course curriculum for the psychology program at Florida Atlantic University most part. I am not really happy with having to take a foreign language after my AA but other than that it's good.

Placement :

The placements and job opportunities at Florida Atlantic University are very good. I have seen a heard from many graduates and upcoming graduates that they already have a job or they are finding it very easy to find a job.

Events :

There are many different events celebrated in my college, for example, Asian culture, American woman?s association, Spanish club and parties, Jamaican club and parties, many types of sororities, and much more.

Fees :

The fee structure and other charges for a student attending Florida Atlantic University are pretty high up there. The dorms cost a lot and you get charged for a lot of things you personally may never use. For example the trolly or the gym and stuff.

Examination Structure :

The exam structure at Florida Atlantic University is something different than what I used too. Each class and professors have a different way of grading so that makes it a little harder and each class has a different test format which is something that's also new to me.

Faculty :

I am a fairly new student but from what I have seen and experienced at Florida Atlantic University is that most professors and faculty do indeed care for your best Interest and want to do well at teaching you. There are some who aren't as great as others but for the most part, everyone is decent.
