UVM and the VT environment surrounding it is so different compared to where I grew up. I was attracted to the challenge of change. I also liked UVM for the nature of its students. Students are extra passionate about their values and beliefs and it shows. I also chose UVM to be on the TF team.
Course Curriculum :
It's ok but does include some unnecessary requirements in my eyes. Having to take a course in sustainability is really important and an awesome opportunity. Many courses are poorly designed or taught poorly.
Exams :
SAT, ACT, AP calf and IB exams for exercise physiology, HL chem, HL English, SL Italian, HL history.
Fees :
Tuition and board with financial aid. Online billing system. Fill out FASFA like normal to receive benefits.
Examination Structure :
2-4 exams per class per semester. Some have finals and midterms while others don't. Not all classes have exams. Some classes offer online exams. Exams vary a lot from class to class and depend on any of the students enrolled in the course.
Faculty :
I personally think that the staff is passionate, smart and engaged but needs to receive annual training of some sort teaching them how to better interact with students struggling with mental illness.
