Great business school. Top 10 and ranked specifically for marketing analytics and being an industry leader/pioneer and innovator. Faculty are also well recognized internationally and supportive of student learning.
Course Curriculum
It is a very fast-paced curriculum with programming, application and communication courses. The professors are top notch and known in the industry. It was a great learning experience where I learned time management, communication, and presentation skills.
Exams
SAT exam was taken and a score of 1600 was received in 2012. GRE was never taken as I was given preference for admission due to high performance
Placement
The placements are great for the business school. Several large corporations and big-name industry leaders recruit the university of Maryland students exclusively during career fair events hosted semiannually. They also have a number of spots that they reserve for students to go full time.
Internship
Yes, internship programs are offered if desired. I took an unpaid internship for full time during one semester at the FDA. I learned a lot about regulatory procedures and received great mentorship from my colleagues. It helped prepare me for full-time jobs.

Fees
$60,000 for the MS academic program. Additional $2,000 in fees for courses and business school program accolades. Miscellaneous fees are also included for registration and student life activities.

Yes, I received an academic scholarship of $10,000 for the program that was divided over the semesters equally.
Examination Structure
Exams are frequent and can be in numerous formats, multiple choice, and short response. We have several exams on the computer for statistical programming. It is very challenging but exams are curved often.
Faculty
They are very supportive and research oriented. They want students to apply themselves and create challenging learning environments. The faculty is top notch and recognized internationally.
Hostel
I lived both on and off campus. Off-campus housing was more convenient but parking on campus was awful because there were more parking permits sold than actual spots to park. Parking tickets are expensive too.
