Chandni Review at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn | Collegedunia

My life in Pratt Institute

C
7.2 /10

It has good faculty and good reviews. Good campus location. I spoke to some of my profs before and they seemed very nice.

Course Curriculum :

The course is very well updated and exactly what I want to study.

Exams :

For the application, I had to write a different essay for each college. No SoP was required. I submitted a CV which consisted of all my academic achievements as well as the internship I took part in during my 12th grade. Since I was applying for an architecture course, I had to submit my art portfolio. The LoRs were written by 2 teachers at school; mathematics and art since they are essential for an architectural course and also my college counselor wrote me a LoR. I did not have to go through any specific tests or interviews while applying to my university.

Placement :

Don't know - still in the first year

Fees :

Scholarship :

I got a merit-based scholarship. From Pratt, 21k $ a year. There was no application process for it.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio 1:10. The staff is very kind and engaging. Extremely approachable and helpful.
