I got in-state tuition, which was the biggest factor in my choice. They have a really good program for nursing students, which is my ultimate goal as a student. It was also close to home, but still far enough away for me to have a new experience.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum is moderate. Depending on the course and which professor, the courses range from too easy to reasonably challenging. Some courses cover good content while others have felt rather useless.
Exams
The exams I took included the SAT and the ACT. I also took an exam for AP psychology, which counted as college credit.
Fees
The structure of the fees is somewhat ridiculous. We are required to pay fees for certain things that are unnecessary such as a sports facility and bus passes, even if you don't use these amenities.
Scholarship
I received a scholarship of $750 a year for all 4 years, for a total of $3,000. There was not a process for this, as it was granted to me automatically for my grades in high school.
Examination Structure
The exam structure is somewhat unorganized. The biggest problem is that the official exam schedule is not released in a timely manner; as of right now we are halfway through the semester and I still don't know my final exam schedule. In terms of actually taking the exams, it's a relatively good structure.
Faculty
The faculty of the university is in general, really good. Most of the professors I've encountered know their content area and are good at teaching it.
