Course Curriculum :
Since the design is always changing and evolving the course and curriculum are required to do the same. With COVID learning has definitely been changed
Exams :
I had to submit 2 LORs, CV was optional. Since I was applying to art school, I made sure to highlight points that showed my involvement with the field but also that I was more than that.
Placement :
Don't have too much experience of this yet. But attended a lot of talks from companies and there's a good career center on campus too
Events :
It's an open campus situated by a beautiful canal and is mainly on a hill next to Brown University. It has a large student population and everyone is really friendly. It's a pretty quiet town though, but very pretty. The risk library is amazing and has a huge collection. They have a nature lab which is an amazing resource as well. Clubs aren't that active but students have really heavy workloads so there isn't much time for that anyway.
Fees :
Around $80,000 per year
Faculty :
Class size is usually 15 , so 15:1 . They're all very well educated, approachable, and knowledgable about the field. They have a lot of experience and many of them are RISD graduates.
Hostel :
Yes I live on campus. The newer buildings are amazing but the older ones are alright. They're all going under construction soon. North hall for freshmen is recommended.
