I opted for this particular college due to the well known religious and quality of education. I also saw graduates from this college obtain a certain confidence and leadership skill I also wanted. To me, it was a chance to pick a college to grow and become a better person while obtaining a high education.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum I thought it wasn't too hard but also didn't accurately reflect the type of student or knowledge one has. It depends largely on how great of a student you are and your test-taking skills.
Exams
I only took the SAT once and scored in 1050. I also took the ACT only once as well and scored an 18 on it.
Placement
We have an online place to find all jobs and a career center to help locate them faster. This online group is easy to access and allows you to filter to find a more specific job that fits you best. Also, there are announcement boards around campus in which people list job opportunities.
Internship
No, they provide help to find internships though through a website who helps filter out what you are looking for in a particular internship. My experience so far has been extremely good to look for them through the online website.
Events
We have a lot of religious events such as special conferences for missions or diversity. In addition, the upper and lower dorms hold different week-long events providing information and activities to support certain things such as mental health or black history month.
Fees
I bought books on my own, paid for all fees before the semester started which included food, courses, & room/board.
Scholarship
No, I have not availed any scholarship or financial aid, therefore, I cannot provide any description of the process.
Examination Structure
Professors decide their own schedule but typically all have one main final exam or research paper. The school doesn't have a strict constant schedule for midterms or finals. They reserve a week for them but teachers often stick to their own agenda and lessons.
Faculty
The faculty all deeply care for their students and are understanding willing to work with students so that they can become better students and adults.
Hostel
I lived in the dorms on campus because it saved money and was easiest since I took a full load of classes. I think it's important to manage your residence based on what's efficient with your time along with pricing. It may be cheaper to live off campus close by or at home if dorms are overpriced.
