Courses in accounting, economics, statistics, and agricultural policy supplement an agricultural economics base enabling B.S. graduates to obtain the skills necessary to become managers, lenders, and analysts in the agricultural sector. The option allows students to develop expertise in agricultural finance, management, marketing, and agricultural price risk management. Careers in farm business, agricultural lending, banking, agricultural commodity trading, and agribusiness management, sales, and marketing. The option also encourages students to work towards establishing and running their own farm and small business. Job opportunities are expanding rapidly as the agricultural sector expands to meet rapidly growing food demand and biofuel production.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
- Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
