Biophysics offers a flexible curriculum that can be tailored to a multitude of undergraduate majors. Students in our program actively participate in original research and develop fundamental knowledge in the following areas:

  • Biochemistry
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics

The program enrolls students with undergraduate degrees in the physical sciences, life sciences, engineering and mathematics, and provides individualized course work based on each student's background and area of study interest.Biophysics crosses 6 colleges and comprises 80 faculty in 33 departments. Biophysics students actively participate in original research and develop fundamental knowledge in the areas of biochemistry, biology, chemistry, and physics.


Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3.0 GPA is required on a scale of 4.0
