Partnering with an array of addiction treatment programs in southeast Michigan, University of Detroit Mercy's Addiction Counseling program has been pivotal in improving the field of addiction counseling in Michigan and throughout the United States.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university with 2.75 GPA or 3.0 GPA in second half of undergraduate degree or 3.0 GPA on a previous graduate degree
- Submit official transcripts of high school and previous education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated course by course by a NACES accredited agency
- Applicant must have completed 15 hours in behvourial science with one course in statistics
- Submit a current resume
- Submit three letters of recommendation from individuals who are able to speak of your potential in counselling field
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 81 in ibt; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
