Michigan State University is pretty relaxed with courses. The good thing is that you are free to take courses from any department or college at MSU to meet the minimum credit requirement. The courses are also very well planned and include more practical aspects than just theory. The academic requirements throughout the degree program are also very well planned and not too hectic so that you can really enjoy the learning process.

Fees

For Ph.D. students, you pay $175 per semester and $1800 for each credit of courses, if not funded.

I am not an international student so I'm not sure. I do believe there are some scholarships for them though. However, my tuition was about 14k/year and I got no aid, but I did not take out any loans last year or this year for the fall semester. I did get a Livingston county Spartans scholarship, but it is a group of alums, not the school.

I knew that I wanted to go to a college in-state and an MSU was the leading college in business that really caught my eye. It was the perfect distance away from my house which was about an hour and that was great because I could easily get home if I needed to but I wasn't so close that my parents could come up any day or that I felt that I'd be going home too often. On top of that when I visited the campus it was amazing I really loved how everything was so tied in together and so large at the same time. I really felt at home and I really solidified that when I got there. I can go running or for a walk anywhere on campus and it feels like I?m just outside enjoying nature there?s a bunch of trees alongside a bunch of beautiful buildings.

The curriculum is not too hard but I wish that colleges would not make us take general education courses. It seems like it wastes time when I could be focusing on classes directed toward my major of psychology.

Fees

The fees are going to be set in a flat rate for 12-15 credits in the fall per semester but as of right now it is pay per credit. Additionally, I need to buy online resources to do attendance online with subscriptions and I need to buy other textbooks and e-books.

My courses are packed with information. I don't mind them but the university required curriculum is not always best suited for the major and or any and all majors that have to take these courses. Also, the level of these required courses vary.

Fees

The fee structure was based on credits and also supplies and materials needed for each class. Also possible online materials.

Too many credits had to be taken in none essential courses. This created a burn out feeling as well as adding up in cost. Taking a lot of courses just to fill in the number of courses needed to get diploma

Fees

I dont remember the fee structure per say. There were some fees for various clubs that were optional but some fees were mandatory and high.

The curriculum for the human biology program was challenging, but I felt that it truly prepared me to have a career in healthcare. I enjoyed it a lot. The classes were all very great, even though I was overwhelmed sometimes.

Fees

Fees are based on credit hour, I'm not exactly sure how expensive it is every semester, but the higher you go up in credits the more expensive it is.
