The curriculum will provide students with knowledge and skills to improve outcomes in areas of quality processes, cost savings, and patient satisfaction. Core content within the curriculum includes leadership, fiscal management, evaluative methods, information systems, health care policy, communication, and organizational behavior. Didactic and practicum courses will comprise the curriculum. Practicum experiences will be arranged with health care facilities in students? geographic areas. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed a bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency like WES, SpanTran
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Applicant must have a minimum grade of ‘C’ in inferential statistics course
- Submit a writing sample of 200-300 words describing principal areas of academic interest, capabilities, experience and reason for pursuing M.S. degree
- Applicants must submit two letters of evaluation from people who can assess your academic potential
- Submit a resume
- Submit a copy of unencumbered nursing license
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in iBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 110
