In considering requirements for the B.A. in Art or one of the two B.A. degrees in Art, whether with a minor or certification, students must first be admitted by the University. They must also satisfy all testing requirements, must eradicate deficiencies assessed through the Student Academic Enhance Center (SAEC), must petition the Department for admission as testing requirements are completed and must complete preliminary requirements established by the department for majors, which could include a portfolio review.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit high school transcripts and diploma with official english translation
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency like WES, SpanTran
- Submit SAT (900) /ACT (17) score
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in ibt; 173 in CBT; 500 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.0
- Duolingo: minimum 85
