Bachelor of Arts [B.A] (Dance Performance)

In the at Rider University, students?have the option of a dance concentration if majoring in Elementary Education, a BA degree that affords another major, or a minor in dance. All students must take a placement class before entering the program.
Our students go on to perform on stages locally and across the country.? They teach in private studios, outreach programs and in public schools. They work as administrators in an array of dance venues, dance in the trainee program at the Princeton Ballet School (link is external) or go on to graduate school for dance related degrees such as Dance/Movement Therapy and Dance Physical Therapy.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts, marksheets, grades of all previous secondary and post secondary education
- Transcripts must be translated in English and should contain the courses taken and grades received
- Submit essay on the topic requested in application
- Submit one letter of recommendation from an individual who can describe your academic potential
- SAT/ACT scores is not compulsory but can be submitted for consideration
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Proficiency:
- TOEFL: minimum 540 in PBT; minimum 70 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- PTE: minimum 50
- Duolingo: minimum 95
- ITEP: minimum 3.7
